Restored vintage "Hammer Hawk" from Dave's personal collection
An extremely unique vintage peice recently located in Slovenia. Appears to be hand forged high carbon steel, and has traces of having once been hard chromed. Of unknown date, but if I had to make a guess I would say it was made during the 50's when everyone was chrome plating everything. And cars had fins!
Refaced, restored and refinished by Dave-marked with the new "Rydböm" Hertiage Collection logo, then sent off to Trinity Boletus in Quebec for a custom haft and sheath. Handle is made in the old way, out of white ash using planes and spoke shavers. Wearing a hair popping sharp edge, this unique one-off cross of a heavy hammer and tomahawk is ready for a new lifetime of use.
