KA Heritage Swedish Hatchet Tomahawk

 Recently acquired and shipped over from Sweden, this saturday afternoon barn find piece was picked up by one of Dave's sources in the old country. Not much is known about it other than it appears to be mid century and cast in it's manufacture technique. The only marking is 0,8 on the underside of the poll, more than likely a reference to it's weight. Regardless, the piece exhibited solid build quality and high carbon construction. It refinished nicely, and took a Keen cutting edge.

In keeping with it's use, Dave had Emil hang it on a straight 16" haft with a nice diamond shape flair and hand scraped flats to help prevent twist in the hand. Hatchet? Tomohawk? 100% awesome... and ready for a life of adventure. The leather shape sheath protects the edge, and you from it... especially since you'll be carrying it via the looped belt attachment. White ash, with burn detail at end, hand waxed.... Dave almost kept this one!
