Hand-forged mid-century French Cleaver with Custom Stand
Located in an antique store in Beauvoir, France. This one peice hand forged mid centurey cleaver was shipped into the KA shop, where Dave brought it back to life. It was given a hand sclupted hand texture, then wire stripped, tumbled and gun metal blued. Dave chose to leave the vintage strike marks and dings on the spine, as well as some of the surface imperfections as evidence of the life and history in the piece.
It is now wearing the Rydböm Heritage chop logo and standing proudly at attention in a Kingdom Armory hand fabricated American black walnut and hand bent brass stand. A mid-sized, mid-century piece of French history, now ready to adorn your kitchen or get back to work separating flesh and bone. Hey, somebody has to make bacon!
