Tiki Bomber - Creature from the Black Lagoon, 1954

Welcome to TikiBomber! 

Taking inspiration from his love of Mai Tai's and the "Tiki" culture made famous by the likes of Don the Beachcomber and Trader Vic's... Dave has now thrown himself into hand-making custom tiki mugs.

Each mug is first hand thrown on the pottery wheel then allowed to dry for a day before being individually hand carved. Fired to "bisque" hardness in the first kiln firing, Dave then returns to each piece to apply various glaze details looking to highlight each pieces individuality and character. 

Intended to be both displayed and used, each mug is a unique work of useable art and sure to bring a smile and appreciation to your next tiki party. We won't overshare here... but Dave was an "accident", fueled by one too many Mai Tai's enjoyed on beach in Hawaii in summer of 1974. Yes, his friends have always called him "Bomber" (hence TikiBomber)... but his own father affectionately called him the "Mai Tai Kid" since the day he was born. Might as well lean into your origins!
