KA Heritage - True American

Vintage True Temper Jersey Pattern head, local barn find just down the road in rural Oregon. Brought to the shop from a family friend, and gifted to Dave for the cause and intent to get this tool back out into the world. Aprox age, Mid Century American. Rehung on a 29" full burn detailed White Ash haft, that was hand crafted by restoration expert Emile Bournival out of Quebec Canada. The thin whippy nature of this handle just begs to be swung, and the further antiqued paint details added here in the KA shop lean into the history of the piece will adding a mountain punk vibe.

Somethings just get better and sharper with time, while wearing the scars of time with pride!

Ready to work, or simply start conversation as a wall hanger... this resto mod was done to make a statement and evoke memories of a time in history when wool was the "high tech" fiber and wax went in a moustache. Art, History, Functionality. True American!
