Full Custom - 2nd Legion - Fixed blade

One of Dave's most popular and utilitarian fixed blade designs, the 2nd Legion is a shortened version of the orginal Legion as designed for an active duty Marine in Afganistan many years ago. Knives and Dogs, fear of God... that first version centered around a large "that's a knife" blade length. A compliance encourager if you will. 

In this iteration, the hand filling 5" handle is paired to just over 6" of hand ground blade length. Really the sweet spot for balance and hard useage, the 2nd Legion has proven itself as a fantastic wilderness, bushcraft, or deployment blade. With a "piercing" style grind for added strength and constructed from 3/16" thick CPM154, this fixed blade is built for hard use while still being capable of doing detailed work. Hand milled fuller or blood groove on either side adds interest and a bit of old school flair to the modern lines. Black peel textured scales are comfortable while offering a very secure and postivie grip. The abilty to remove them by loosening the Titanium bolts, is a positive for cleaning should the need arise.

The sole authored drop sheath was pressed and fabricated by Dave specifically for this knife. Made using Boltralon (a kydex equivilent that actually scratches much less) Dave created an integrated overlay that drops the sheath with a leather loop attached to the back, and retains the HSGI mag pouches on the front using MOLLE clips. Everything is easily removable should you want to transition to a simple tek-lok  method of carry, etc... As currently formated however, the TACO pouches on the front provide the option to carry not just mags, but flashlights, or other necessary survival gear. The larger pouch, in fact makes a perfect place to carry an altoid tin full of tinder, line, a lighter, etc...

The shown 20 rd Lancer mag is brand new out of the package and will be included with the sale, unless you live in a mag cap restricted state such as CA, RI, NY, CO, PA, etc... In that case the mag will be replaced and ship with a tin of Altoids. Less rounds, fresher breath!
