What was at first a Spyderco produced Stovepipe, has been transformed by Dave this week into this final offering, as the surprise 13th folder!
Hand-ground in the same manner as the 12, this folder however has been subject to a full custom overhaul. Inspired by the patterns found in Birch Bark, Dave set off to hand mill a detail into the frame, mimicking that pattern found in nature. Torch colored Gold then slack belt finished to bring back a satin orange peel texture to the contour, the resulted two-tone finish was then tumbled to create a dimensionally antiqued appearance.
The first time Dave has done the "Birch Bark" texture in any folder, it will be the only time done on a Stovepipe and is clearly stated as such with the 1 of 1 stamping this frame now wears.

Blade will wear the Bomber Edition stamp (Dave just noticed he forgot to mark it!).
