Practical with less tactical maybe... a fixed blade you can use as a necker, toss in a pocket or have on a pack strap without a big long handle sticking off to get tangled in stuff. I've built a ton of abbreviated handled fixed blades that would fit that bill, but I got to thinking about how to boil an EDC sized fixed blade down to its most pure form and function. Less is more, perhaps?

Don't get me wrong... as a Rambo generation kid, I love huge intimidating fixed blades... but with all the sheeple around, who's going to carry it?! Nobody want's to get labeled as the freak still waiting for the zombie apocalypse. That already happened and it was called "zoom schooling", lol.
