Always popular, but only made in small batches a few times each year.
For those that don't already know, the KA DogTag design is a backup friction folder made to wear as a necker or detached from the included length of ball chain to be hung on a key chain or pack. Most are made from parts and pieces of extra material that Dave has saved and ferreted away over the year. As such, each Tag is unique and individually made by hand. Variations in size, shape and grind style, as well as different back plate materials really do make every Tag a unique custom piece.
This particular group is all made using Swedish RWL-34 stainless steel and heat treated by Bos. Back-plate materials range from acrylic moon-glow to translucent and peeled texture G10. All bolts are titanium hollow bolts, that allow the attachment of stainless ball chain. Most blade finishes are satin stonewashed with satin grinds, with the exception being the full sculpted pieces that wear a darkened acidwashed and satin grind combo.
As mentioned exact sizing will vary, but all fit within a general foot print of 1.75" x 1" and have approximately 3/4" of razor sharp zero ground cutting edge (some being compound flat and hollow grinds).
